Otjozondjupa is one of the 13 regions of Namibia. The capital of Otjozondjupa is Otjiwarongo. A popular landmark in the Otjozondjupa region is the spectacular Waterberg Plateau. This table-like mountain consisting of sandstone is also covered in luscious vegetation because of the rain that is held in the crevices of the sandstone which keeps the ground moist. As it is a good feeding ground, you can expect to find Rhino, Wildebeest and Duiker.
Climate:
Between September and November you can expect the hottest temperatures to rise into the high 30's. Heavy rainfalls are most common between January and March. The weather is fine to moderate between April and June.
