We stayed for 8 nights in the Pool cottage (2 bedroom self catering).
As self catering places go this is the best we ever stayed at in terms of comfort and value for money. The owners were great and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The bedrooms are large and airy, the walls are decorated with beautiful oil paintings painted by the lady of the house. There are lovely Persian rugs in every room. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a sitting area right outside the cottage slightly separated from the main house for privacy but only a few feet from the swimming pool. There are 2 very friendly dogs roaming around. The house has its own water supply so is not affected by the water shortages.
The place is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in one of the leafy streets in Constantia village. There are several supermarkets and restaurants only 10 min walk away or 2 min drive. It is within a short driving distance of places like Hout Bay, Kalk Bay, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and Groot Constantia Vineyard.
