What a stunning place and setting.
If you are looking for a place to reset your mind, this is the place, if you are looking for a romantic getaway for 2, this is the place.
My ratings below explained:
Sleep quality - the beds need upgrading, the tin roof can also be noisy and freaky with the birds on and off there.
Location - the best!! Middle of nowhere with mountains all around.
Rooms - perfect for what is needed, enough space for 2!
Service - when we got there, we had all we needed, but in our time there, there was no service, we ran out of toilet paper and didn’t get fresh towels?
Value - value for money, cannot find a better bargain than this - the setting is something money actually cannot buy, but for the price, this is a serious bargain for me!
Cleanliness - the units were spotless, no spider webs even. Very clean!
Thanks for an awesome experience - if a few of the other rating factors were lifted, this place could be a serious GEM!!!

We had a fantastic weekend away in Dubme No.3 The views were spectacular from high on the escarpment.
Loved the quiet times and the ability to walk around the hills and also to experience the rich culture and history of the voortrekkers in the area - from Kallvoet vrou to Kerkenberg.

Thank you to our hosts and we look forward to visiting again with our children.

Amazing, luxury and comfortable cabin with breathtaking views, short walk to historic Great Trek beacons. Hint - try.to do 3-4 day stay to really wind down and enjoy nature.

The place is beautiful! Photo's does not do the place justice. If you want to "cut off" from the world, this is the place to be. It’s so peaceful, quiet and you can just enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds you whether you inside the chalet or outside.
You have 180-degree view INSIDE the chalet, so you can sit and have coffee in the kitchen or on the bed and still have a clear view of the mountains. There are windows all around.
The owners (Solly and Elma) as well as the staff are so helpful and friendly.
You will not regret going there!

Quiet place. Spectacularly situated on the side of the mountain with a spectacular view. Plenty of places to hike near by the house. We also visited the Royal Natal National Park for a day hike and Sterkfontein Dam.
