The endless sandy beaches invite you to go on long walks. Quite often one can spot dolphins, seals and whales. Bird life is rich and the sacred ibis can also be seen.

Thalassa is a romantic cottage for two persons, right on the beach.
Bedroom
It has a queen-sized bed with crisp white linen. There is a television and Full DStv (No smart card needed) in the bedroom.
Lounge/kitchen
There are concertina doors that open completely to give you the feeling that you are outside, although you are inside. There is an inside fireplace and a cd player/radio.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a four plate stove with oven, microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer. All other utensils, crockery etc. is provided.
Bathroom
The bathroom is newly renovated. It has a shower, but no bath.
Outside
On the wooden decks you can spend time either by having a braai, or just relax on the reclining chairs. From the stoep you can observe the activities of holiday makers, fishermen, sea-birds, whales (in season), dolphins, etc.
General
You have a sea view from about every angle in the cottage.
You only need to bring beach towels, fire-wood, food and drinks. Please no smoking in the cottage. No pets allowed. A cleaning service is available at an extra rate.
Recreational
Body boarding, wind-surfing and canoeing can be done right in front of the cottage. It is possible to swim, but then you should be brave enough to dare the cold water.
Cape Colombine Nature Reserve and light house is about 3 km from Paternoster. Vredenburg is the closest big town (15 km) and offer all major shops.
Conclusion
The idea of visiting Paternoster, is not to rush all the time, but to relax and enjoy the nature, and the tranquility of this beautiful quaint fishermen's village.
