Ramsgate Dunes is situated on Marine Drive, 2km south of Ramsgate Village or 5km south of Margate. The surrounding area is tranquil with no large hotels nor shopping centers in close proximity, offering a detached vacation from everyday chaos. A family Spar, butchery, pharmacy, hardware, "tops" and other convenience outlets are 5mins drive from the apartment. Many family restaurants are scattered in and around the area making for fun dining.

The apartment is located in a small secure complex which includes electric fencing with a remote access point and a remote panic button for backup security. Only a small narrow nature reserve separates the apartment from the beach. This reserve provides beautiful landscape scenery, a windbreak as well as privacy from the beach goers. It is a 200m walk to Southbroom beach which boasts lifeguards, a lagoon, restaurant and tidal pool. There is a wonderful walk on a ramble path all along this beachfront with more swimming beaches and perfect for exercise and leisure. The complex also has a swimming pool and clubhouse available to all residents.

The unit consists of three bedrooms, all upstairs. The main bedroom is ensuite with a balcony looking out onto the small reserve and the sea. A second bathroom which includes a shower is also upstairs. A television is available in the main bedroom. The downstairs area includes lounge/family room with television, dining area and fully equipped kitchen as well as a guest toilet. The courtyard is paved and offers outside washing up facilities, a laundry, a washing line and outside shower. The patio has a large dining area as well as built in braai and a separate sitting area perfect for relaxing and reading. A DStv decoder is available for your convenience.

There is a covered carport for parking in front of the unit. There are beach chairs and umbrellas available in the storeroom (garage). Please note to bring your own beach towels and DStv card for the decoder. No smoking allowed in units. No pets allowed in the complex.
