SELF CATERING CHALET ACCOMMODATION IN HAZYVIEW

Our safe, family owned farm with scenic views, peace, and tranquillity - is centrally situated between Hazyview and Sabie, ideal to visit the Panorama Route, Kruger National Park and many more world known attractions in the area. On the Panorama Route are several breathtaking waterfalls such as Mac Mac, Bridal Veil, Lisbon and Horseshoe, as well as God's Window, Pilgrims Rest, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes. To get the adrenaline pumping, visit the Graskop glass lift, big swing and zip line. The Phabeni entrance gate to the Kruger is only 30 km from Sabaan. A choice of excellent golf courses are also available, an arial cable through the plantations and toboganning near Misty Mountain on the Lydenburg pass. For more adventures, Lowveld Xtreme Adventures is only 3 km from our resort, with white river rafting, archery, quads, paintball and much more. Also available In the area is hot air ballooning, the Sudwala caves, several hiking and mountain bike trails, to mention but a few. This region is definitely going to keep you busy and entertained for days on end.

Sabaan has 22 fully equipped self-catering chalets, accommodating from 2-8 people each, with own braai and parking facilities - sleeping up to 130 persons in total. All linen are included, except bath and swimming towels. On the premises is a crystal clear cold water swimming pool, tennis and table tennis, volley ball, a kiddies play park with trampolines, a jungle gym, swings and a slide.

Groups (eg schools, churches, reunions, sport groups, etc.) can be easily accommodated, and catering can be done by arrangement. A LAPA with a fully equipped kitchen and braai facilities is available at an additional fee. There is no restaurant on the resort, but several excellent restaurants and shopping malls are nearby.

WEDDINGS: Our new Wedding and Entertainment / Conference Venue offers:

  • Fantastic 180 degree view over the Sabie River Valley.
  • We do catering on request.
  • Guests are welcome to get their own caterers for functions and weddings, a kitchen fee is applicable.

Direct Route : From Johannesburg or Pretoria take the N12 or N4 highway respectively to Witbank. Then follow N4 highway past Belfast. After the Machado Plaza Toll, follow the Schoemanskloof option on the N4 towards Nelspruit. Turn left where you rejoin the main N4 at Montrose and continue to Nelspruit. Turn left on the R40 and follow the indications to White River " Hazyview. Do not turn off anywhere, stay on the R40 until you reach the T-Junction in Hazyview, turn left and drive through the town. At the 3 way stop at Perry's Bridge Trading Post, turn left onto the R536 Sabie Road : you will pass Induna Adventures, Trans-Sabaan, Cuckoo Ridge, and Spitzberg, all on your left hand side - reaching Sabaan to your left, after 15.5 km. At a big packing store with yellow walls, marked "Bambuu Lodge" and "Sabaan", please call the number on the black electronic gate to obtain entrance- travel 2.5 km on a dirt road to Sabaan.


Scenic Route : From Johannesburg and Pretoria take the N12 or N4 highway respectively to Witbank. Follow the N4 to the Belfast turnoff. Take the off-ramp (R540) and head into Belfast, then right, following signs to Dullstroom. Pass through Dullstroom and carry on to the T-junction, turning left to Lydenburg. In Lydenburg, turn right on the R37 towards Sabie over the Long Tom Pass (the highest tar road in South Africa, there are NO special fee payable to drive over this pass !!). In Sabie, take the R536 towards Hazyview. Sabaan is about 27km from Sabie on the right. Please stay on this tar road ! You will pass Bohms Zederberg and the Windmill Wineshop on your left, and less than 2km from the Wineshop, you will find a big square packing store and yellow walls on your right hand side, marked "Bambuu Lodge" and "Sabaan", call the number on the black electronic gate to obtain entrance- travel 2.5 km on a dirt road to Sabaan.

IF YOU KNOW THE AREA :

From the N4, turn left on R539 to Sudwala Caves, before you get to the Caves, turn right at 1st tar road marked "Panorama" to Sabie, which road turns into the R37. From Sabie take R536 for 28 km to Sabaan, on right hand side
