Maun
Situated in the Northwest corner of Botswana and administrative capital of Ngamiland District, Maun is the fifth largest town of Botswana. The town is an eclectic mix of modern buildings and native huts. Although still officially a village, Maun has developed rapidly and now boasts shopping centres, hotels and lodges as well as car hire companies. Local tribesmen still bring their cattle to market at Maun, and the Lechwe can be seen grazing next to local donkeys, goats and cattle.
