The Windybrow Arts Centre, commonly referred to as the Windybrow Theatre, is a cultural and heritage landmark situated in Hillbrow, Johannesburg. Originally built in 1896 by Theodore Reunert as a grand Victorian house. The building has been used for many other facilities such as a nurses home. It later became a space dedicated to promoting South African arts, particularly performing arts. In 1996, Windybrow was declared a national monument. The center serves as a platform for storytelling, cultural exchange, and artistic expression, focusing on the diverse cultures and traditions of South Africa.
