Tamboerskloof

Tamboerskloof is in Cape Town's city bowl, on the slopes of Table Mountain just five minutes from the city centre. One of the oldest residential suburbs in Cape Town, Tamboerskloof is filled with beautiful old, Victorian-style homes. The streets are relatively quiet, despite being only a few minutes from Kloof Street, the city's "restaurant mile", which offers a number of trendy boutiques and shops and is always humming.

With a multitude of accommodation in Tamboerskloof, it is an ideal base from which to explore the city centre and bohemian Long Street, the Convention Centre and the V&A Waterfront. One is close to the Atlantic beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton and Tamboerskloof offers easy access to the Table Mountain cableway and Lion's Head. Views from here over the CBD and harbour and northwards towards Table Bay and Robben Island are superb.

Tamboerskloof is close to the Castle of Good Hope, Greenmarket square, Company Gardens and the Constantia wine farms are only 30 minutes drive south of the city.

Tamboerskloof, nestled in Cape Town's city bowl, offers a delightful mix of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and urban charm.
